Please see below updates on recent and upcoming key product and firmware release information from GME Commercial.

New Commercial Price Books

New Price Books for our Australian and New Zealand Dealer were issued in February and are effective 8^th of March 2024:

Software & Firmware Updates

V2.23 Firmware for the CM Series is now available to download from the Commercial Dealer Portal
All new CM radios manufactured from March 2024 will have Firmware V2.23 loaded from factory
In addition to minor CM Series bug fixes, this firmware update also includes several improvements to the Audio Levels of the UIC500B

v1.22 Dealer Programmer for the CM Series is now available to download from the Commercial Dealer Portal
In addition to minor CM Series bug fixes, this programming software update also includes:
- Imbedded CM40,CM50 Service and Programming manuals
- New, dealer requested features:
  - The default file name will contain the radio’s serial number when a configuration that was read from or written to a radio is saved to a file
  - Streamlined navigation of contact list fields using the keyboard
    - “Tab” will move between contact list fields and “Enter” will add a new entry
- General improvements when aligning UHF models

Introduction of Version 1.1 of the UIC500B & New Extension Leads

UIC500B Audio & Menu Functionality Improvements

Version V1.1 of the UIC500B started shipping in March 2023, and has enhanced Audio and improved menu functionality
- V1.1 is now displayed on the UIC500B loading screen
- For optimal performance it is recommended to use CM Firmware V2.23 with V1.1 UIC500B
GME Commercial Dealers can follow the RMA process to update existing UIC500B to V1.1
- Simply complete the RMA form and request “UIC500B V1.1 Firmware Update”
- This firmware update will be performed by the GME Service Department as field upgrades are not available on the UIC500B
- Please note, updating UIC500B to V1.1 is optional, and only recommended if your customer has made mention of specific audio or menu performance issues on their UIC500B

CM Series Base Radio Extension Leads

All CM Series base radios will continue to ship with the LE104: 3m 8 Pin Microphone Extension Lead to suit AD008
- Note: GME Commercial does not recommend using the GME LE040: 1.8m 8 Pin Microphone Extension Lead that comes standard with some XRS Radios
  - LE004 is not shielded and is susceptible to RF interference when used with CM Series base radios
GME Commercial has also introduced new (shielded) 1 metre and 5 metre Extension Leads to suit CM Series base radios
- LE108: 1m (RJ45) 8 Pin Microphone Extension Lead to suit AD008
- LE109: 5m (RJ45) 8 Pin Microphone Extension Lead to suit AD008

New VHF Antenna to suit CM Series

GME Commercial has launched a new VHF Tunable Antenna to suit CM Series VHF Mobiles and other commercial applications

This VHF antenna is available as a kit or whip only and will begin shipping April 2024
- AE4474-VT5 : VHF Tunable Antenna 144-174 MHz 2.5dBi – with PL259 Right Angle Base & 5m Coax (unterminated)
- AW-4474-VT : VHF Tunable Antenna 144-174 MHz 2.5dBi – Whip Only
